Founder & Principal
Vivien Rayam is a Funding Strategist and Founder of Creative Action Consulting, helping nonprofits, universities, and startups secure grants and non dilutive funding and build the capacity to sustain it.Since 2017, Vivien has helped clients secure more than $50 million in non dilutive funding, including over $10 million in 2024 alone. With more than 20 years of experience, she knows which grants, contracts, and competitions organizations can realistically win and how to position them to compete.
Her advantage comes from experience on both sides of the funding table. Vivien has led HUD grant rounds, reviewed federal proposals, and co-authored Notices of Funding Opportunity. She understands what reviewers are evaluating before a proposal is ever written.Vivien holds a BA in Journalism, an MS in Community Economic Development, and an MBA, bringing together storytelling, community impact, and business strategy to help clients become stronger, more competitive, and more fundable.
